If you are involved in any of the various MLM businesses currently rocking the online world, the need to find qualified, viable leads is tremendous. Without leads, you have no marketing prospects. Without leads, your chances of developing a decent downline are considerably reduced. How do you go about finding those leads, though? One of the most common options is to buy leads from a leads company. However, the truth on MLM is that this is not the best option for your needs. What should you do?
In order to determine the right course of action for your needs, you will need to learn a bit more about why buying leads from a company is the wrong course of action. First, consider what you will be purchasing. In essence, what these companies are providing you with is a list of consumers and their contact information (usually at least an email address per name listed). However, how old is that list? How many other MLM marketers have purchased that self-same list? If your leads are not as fresh as possible, you can suffer greatly.
The truth on MLM is that those leads need to be as fresh as possible. What can possibly go wrong with using stale, old leads? Well, the first thing is that they might not be leads any more. Why is this? Consider the probability that the list you have just purchased has been sold an untold number of times to other marketers. Each of those marketers has proceeded to email everyone on the list. The chances of you lucking out and finding one or two people on the list interested in what you have to offer are very slim, indeed.
In addition, consider the probability that those leads are not qualified. It is all too easy to gather email addresses and contact names from the Internet. However, just because you have those names and addresses does not mean that they are eager to hear from you about your opportunity. Emailing those people can quickly lead to you being labeled as a spammer, which is most certainly not a reputation that you want to earn.
The truth on MLM is that developing a list of fresh, viable, interested leads is the only way to ensure your success online. Buying leads through a leads company will usually not result in this.
